Anita, 19 years old

My name is Anita, I’m 19 years old.

I would like to thank the FXB project because it has helped me a lot.

Some time ago, I was going to school. I went to primary school and then secondary school for three years. But due to a lack of financial resources, I wasn’t able to continue my studies.

Luckily, I was then selected to participate in the FXB program organized by Amir. Thanks to the help of the association, I followed a professional training and was able to study sewing.

With the support of the trainers and my classmates, I created several models of clothes: dresses, skirts, and even handbags. In fact, what I am wearing today, I made it myself. After I receive the sewing kit, I plan to open my own workshop.

In addition to the sewing training sessions, we received advice regarding healthcare and sexuality. I now know what the different sexually transmitted diseases are and how to prevent them.

We also talked a lot about early and unwanted pregnancies and how to avoid them. I know, for example, that men can corrupt me by giving me drugs without me knowing about it. Moreover, our trainers told us about the procedures to follow in case of rape: we must immediately contact the police and local authorities.

All this training allows me today to feel more autonomous, to feel proud of myself and believe in the future.
