FXBVillage Program in Bu Tuo, Sichuan Province, China, wins a Special Contribution Award for its work for the Yi Community development.

Since 2006, FXB China operates successful and innovative programs, serving 300 families and more than 600 children in Bu Tuo, with the aim to lift them out of poverty by supporting them to achieve sustainable economic autonomy and human dignity.

The Yi Culture Research Center of Central University of Nationalities (CUN) and China Social Welfare Foundation (CSWF) have awarded the FXBVillage Program in Bu Tuo with a Special Contribution Award for its involvement in the Yi Community development in China.

Bruce Li Yuan Qiang, Program Coordinator of FXB international in China and his team proudly collected the award at a ceremony held on Nov 24, 2013 in Beijing. Receiving the Special Contribution Award is a great encouragement for the team, for the support they bring to the members of the FXBVillage of Bu-Tuo, an extremely remote, mountainous county in Liangshan – Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan province home to the Yi ethnic minority.
