Who we are

Our website address is: fxb.org

Personal data

When you contact FXB to order an item from our online store, request information, subscribe to our newsletter, support a specific action or make a donation, you are transmitting personal data to FXB. We use this data solely to keep you informed about the various topics we deal with, as well as upcoming actions and projects. Personal data such as date of birth is used when we organize age-related actions, and telephone numbers to ask you or give you information about an order placed in our online store, for example.

The data remains exclusively in the possession of FXB. External service providers - e.g. the printers for our appeals for donations - are subject to the Data Protection Act and, in accordance with our agreements, are not authorized to use or pass on data for other purposes.
For each of our publications, it is possible to unsubscribe by e-mail (info@fxb.org) or by telephone (tel. 022 741 00 30), or to customize the frequency of mailings.

Mailings and telephone calls

Anyone who provides us with their postal address may be regularly informed of our themes by post, unless they expressly object. Telephone data is used by FXB for additional information and/or telephone campaigns. Age-related data may be used for the distribution of offers aimed specifically at people in a certain age bracket.

Electronic mailings: e-mails and newsletters

Anyone who provides us with their e-mail address can receive information (e.g. proof of payment or information on events) by e-mail. However, regular information, in particular the newsletter, is only sent with the specific consent of the person concerned (Opt-In). Anyone who no longer wishes to receive our newsletter can simply and quickly unsubscribe by following the corresponding link in each newsletter.

Online donations

FXB treats all payment data with the utmost confidentiality. FXB is a non-profit organization recognized by Zewo in Switzerland. The Zewo label guarantees that donations are used in accordance with FXB's objectives, in an efficient and cost-effective manner. It also guarantees transparent internal and external communication, both in terms of the association's activities and financial management.
FXB also has its own Donation Regulations. FXB refuses to accept funding that could compromise its aims, or donations with conditions that would call into question its integrity. FXB refuses to accept funds derived from child labor, drugs, the arms trade or funds derived from criminal and illegal activities.
By making a donation on our site, you are transmitting your personal data and possibly your credit card information to FXB in encrypted form. FXB uses Donorbox, a US-based tool, to process donations securely and professionally: https://donorbox.org/fr/privacy

Buy online (fxbshop.org)

FXB uses software from the Canadian company Shopify, whose server infrastructure is located in the United States. During the checkout process, data is necessarily transmitted to the USA. Customers wishing to avoid this can place their orders by telephone on +41 (0) 22 741 00 30 or by e-mail at fxbshop@fxb.org.

Web analysis

The "Google Analytics" advertising analysis tool is used for the anonymized evaluation of impersonal usage data (login data) in order to identify trends and improve our online offering. This data is not only processed by Pro Infirmis, but also by Google acting on its behalf. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data (see Google Analytics Terms and Conditions: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=fr).

Cookies

This website also uses cookies to track usage. These are small text files that a web portal stores on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit it. In this way, the site can "remember" certain entries and settings (e.g. login, language, font size and other display preferences) for a given period of time, and you don't need to enter them on each subsequent visit, or when you browse the portal. On our site, we use cookies to analyze usage, in particular to record your participation in a survey, the usefulness of content (to prevent a pop-up window from prompting you again to respond) or your decision to use (or not to use) cookies on this portal. Similarly, some videos integrated on our pages use cookies to anonymously compile statistics concerning previously visited pages and selected videos.
The information collected using cookies is not used to identify you or for any other purpose than those mentioned here. Accepting cookies is not essential for using the site, but it does make browsing more user-friendly. You can block or delete cookies in your web browser. To find out how, click here: www.aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies deposited on your computer and configure most browsers to prevent their deposit. However, you may have to set certain parameters manually each time you visit a page, and you may have to put up with the degradation of certain functions.

This website contains social plugins, such as the Facebook "Like" button. When you visit our site, these plug-ins automatically transmit your data (IP address, date and time of visit, etc.) to the relevant provider, whether you click on the button or not, and whether you are a member of these social networks or not. To deactivate this function, you must log out of the social networks before visiting our site.
